I feel safe coming to the pantry for the extra help without having someone judging me.

Friends with Food has been our lifeline for fresh food. My disability pays around $10 over the limit for food stamps, so we struggle to get fresh fruits and veggies.

Because of the pantry I can pay my high gas/electric bill, I can make my rent payment which has increased over the past year, and I can have fresh fruit and vegetables which are really expensive. I don’t have to choose between food and bills.

This pantry has really helped us stretch our food budget each month, we really like that we are able the pick what we want unlike some other places where the food we are given that we won't eat goes to waste.

Really like the people, pantry helps my budget stretch being on disability.

It’s hard to stomach going to the store and buying food because it’s so expensive and we can’t get a lot. We have a two year that needs proper nutrition, so we come to the pantry.

Friends with Food provided some financial breathing room and allowed us to stay in our home.

Friends With Food helped us to stop putting our weekly food on our credit card. It was the biggest blessing in the world to us.

I feel judged by many for not being able to provide for my children on my own. I have never felt judged by the awesome volunteers at Friends With Food.

Friends with Food really helps on those weeks I'm struggling and have to choose between groceries or rent.

I don't have a lot of money and coming to you helps keep the family going and I don't have to worry about feeding the family. I am a senior taking care of my three grandchildren so it is hard. I have appreciated all you have done. I think what you are doing is great not only for my family, but others as well. I try to take only what I know we will use. The great thing is that we get to choose what we would use.

I don’t know what I’d do. I’m just above the financial line for government food and assistance programs. I’m caring for my daughter and I lost child support in 2021 so I’m doing this all on my own, and prices just keep raising. I’ve never had to find help like you all give. I’m used to being on the role of the giver. I’m just so grateful for the help now that I’m the one who needs it.
